Owner Guide
The Owner dashboard gives you a real-time view of your business health: P&L trends, cash position, blade activity, and critical alerts.
Dashboard at a Glance
Navigate to /owner after logging in. You'll see:
- Revenue (30d) — total payments collected in the last 30 days
- Outstanding AR — total unpaid invoices (links to Accounting for detail)
- Total Parts — parts registered under your account
- In Service — parts currently being sharpened or in transit
P&L Overview
The P&L section summarizes:
| Metric | Where it comes from |
|--------|-------------------|
| Revenue | Payments with status = succeeded |
| Cost of Service | Service job charges (future: labor + material costs) |
| Gross Profit | Revenue minus cost |
| Subscriptions | Active subscription MRR |
Note: Full cost accounting (labor, materials, overhead) requires the Enterprise plan.
Alerts
Red alerts appear at the top of your dashboard when:
- An invoice is 90+ days overdue
- A part has reached its wear limit and needs replacement
- A pickup is SLA-breached (overdue at service center)
- Subscription is payment failed or past due
Click any alert to navigate directly to the affected record.
Managing Customer Accounts
As an owner, you can see all customer accounts linked to you under My Accounts. Click a customer to see:
- Their active parts
- Recent order history
- Outstanding invoices
- Subscription status
Key Actions
- Schedule a pickup → Customer Service → New Order
- View invoices → Accounting dashboard
- Add a staff member → Admin → Users → Invite
- Change subscription → Settings → Billing
Tips
- Bookmark the Accounting dashboard — it's the fastest way to track cash flow.
- Use the Reports section for monthly board-ready exports (CSV).
- For SLA questions, contact your Account Manager directly.
